Do you want to explore the region or go to Alqueva by bike? This year the U-Bike is back at Andanças and can be requested daily by any participant.
Participants who want to ride on two wheels at the festival can request a U-Bike at the Information desk, by delivering a deposit that will be returned to the participant when the bicycle is delivered.
UéUbike is the University of Évora’s project which, as part of U-Bike Portugal, aims to encourage the adoption of more sustainable mobility habits, through regular use of the bicycle as the preferred means of transportation, thus promoting energy efficiency and rationalization of consumption. The University of Évora is one of the fifteen Higher Education Institutions that are part of the U-bike Portugal Project consortium, coordinated by IMT, I. P. This year, it is again a partner project of the Andanças Festival in the area of sustainable mobility, providing bicycles for participants to circulate around the village or even ride to the big lake of Alqueva.
