Thank you…Andanças has a huge family, with many volunteer teams that give face, life and wheels to the festival. These are the teams that serve the food, guard the instruments, take care of the children, take care of the spaces, photograph, help in the assembly, support the stages and artists, manage the camping, among many other things. Always with a smile, they are the soul of the various areas of the festival. It is to these teams and their coordinators, it is to this Andanças family, that we thank today for another edition of joy. Thank you! 2023 was even more special because Andanças was fully embraced by its host community. Our thanks to the residents of Campinho for the way they received us and also to all the merchants for having prepared themselves to welcome so many people in this village of Alentejo, from where everyone left already wanting to return! A thank you to our local partners for all their support, Reguengos de Monsaraz City Council, Campo and Campinho Parish Union, Gente Nova Association, Campinhense Recreational Society, Campinho Party Committee. Without this support, it would not be so special. And to everyone for coming to meet this festival, in this place of Alentejo so special. And also to the artists and trainers who applied their projects to the intense Andanças 2023 program.

We also thank the wild nature of this territory, which this year was lighter, which sent the touch of heat in smaller doses and made the night wind vibrate, under the almost full moon. To the waters of Alqueva for having refreshed the dancing feet! We were very happy these four days! Thank you.

From the 1st to the 10th of June, registration for Volunteering at the Andanças Festival is open!

Every year there are many candidates who propose to volunteer at Andanças. Those selected form part of a team that puts the festival on its feet, which this year will take place from the 27th to the 30th of July in Campinho, in the municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz. The unique atmosphere of the festival is due, in large part, to this human force that makes it happen: the volunteers!

From the canteen where dishes are delivered or washed, to camping or even to the stages, the atmosphere of joy and cooperation of these service providers special services is contagious. There’s a problem? Everything can be resolved! Applications for Volunteering will run from the 1st to the 10th of May for the assembly, decoration, syntax, dry toilets and disassembly teams, and from the 1st to the 10th of June for the other teams. Entries are made using the form available here. The answers to the applications will be given to the candidates by email, on the 30th of June for candidates from the other teams.

Volunteering is one of the great pillars of Andanças Festival. Every year a great team joins forces and assists in the different sectors of the Festival: Management, Programming, Canteen and Socio-Environmental Practices, Control, Logistics and Services, Health, among others. Come and contribute to this great party of dance, music and sharing, and be part of this great family!

Applications for volunteering in Andanças take place from June 1 to 10 and offer the opportunity to be part of a unique team and festival!
